Fundamental Dryland Training Programs (Levels 1-4)

Goal of the 4 levels of training…

The OVERHEAD PRESS (OHP) Position

To progress to Advanced Dryland Training, an athlete must demonstrate the Overhead Press (OHP) position.

Sept – May 2018 Fundamental Dryland Training (Levels 1-4)

Training Times

Fridays 7:10 – 8:10 pm
&
Sundays 6:40 – 7:40 pm

Registration for 13-17 yrs
Registration for 18+

Athletes who have registered with TOEST do not need to register again with TOETT.

Dryland registration is complete when payment is received.

First day is Friday Sept. 7th

Dryland training run Sept til May on Friday and Sunday evenings before pool sessions. The coaching is focused on proper posture and technique during all movements.

Sessions are open to non-TOEST athletes.  The program is suitable for all athletes, as core control, core strength, and core endurance are the focus. Competitive swimmers, cross country and track runners, triathletes, mountain bikers, soccer players, hockey players all stand to benefit in their game or meet performances and in the application of sport specific technique as a result of dryland training.

Refund Policy: TOETT DOES NOT provide refunds. With programs focused on quality, on learning, on athlete’s making significant progress, hi athlete turnover rate would compromise coaching and the experience of all athletes. We ask that prior to registering that all commitments, calendars, etc… are reviewed to avoid joining when the risk is that the athlete will miss many sessions and/or the athlete will have to drop out. Once an athlete registers, they have a reserved spot in a lane for the entire duration of the program.

Intro to Olympic Lifting

To be permitted to register, athletes must be able to perform the OHP (Overhead Press) with exquisite technique. Athletes can either submit an image of their OHP or demonstrate their skill level during a Fundamental Dryland session.
